Clip Factory Terms of Use
Clip Factory is an internal video processing and publishing tool used by its operator. It is not offered as a public SaaS or consumer service.
YouTube terms
By using this API Client, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Use of YouTube functionality is subject to those terms and applicable Google/YouTube API policies, including the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and YouTube Developer Policies. Google's data practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Operator responsibilities
The operator is responsible for selecting content they are authorized to process and upload, including obtaining the necessary rights and permissions. Clip Factory does not claim ownership of third-party content merely because it processes or uploads it.
The operator is responsible for uploaded metadata and visibility settings. Review the video, title, description, privacy setting and channel before authorizing an upload. The upload interface defaults to private and also offers unlisted and public as explicit choices, subject to YouTube's restrictions.
The tool sets Made for Kids to No. If content is made for kids, the operator must immediately go to YouTube on desktop and declare it as made for kids.
Authorization and disconnecting
Google handles sign-in; the tool stores OAuth authorization locally and does not collect or store YouTube/Google passwords. The in-tool Revoke YouTube Access feature programmatically revokes Google's authorization after confirmation and deletes locally stored OAuth authorization after successful revocation. Google Security Permissions is an additional revocation method. See the Privacy Policy's data deletion section for local cleanup details.
Disconnecting does not delete videos already stored on YouTube. Manage those separately in YouTube Studio.
